T2 Modus makes identity verification and compliance tools for auto dealerships. It was one of my first engineering jobs, from July 2019 to September 2020.
The work I'd point to is a daily data pipeline that processed 25,000+ customer records. It took six hours to run. I rebuilt it around batch processing and database partitioning, and it came down to 45 minutes.
I also rewrote the onboarding docs and training for new engineers, which took onboarding from three weeks to one.
